Exterior Wood Treatment – Important
Yakia saunas are crafted from premium Thermowood, a heat-treated timber chosen for its excellent resistance to moisture, rot and insects. This makes it an ideal material for a long-lasting outdoor sauna. As with all natural timber products, the exterior will gradually weather and change in appearance over time if left untreated.
To preserve the rich finish of the wood and support long-term durability, all external timber must be treated with a high-quality wood preservative immediately after installation.
Please note that failure to carry out this treatment will invalidate the warranty. Yakia recommends Ronseal Trade Total Wood Preserver (Clear) for optimum protection and long-term performance.

Important:
This heater requires a dedicated electrical supply and must be installed by a qualified electrician. Standard plug sockets are not suitable. Your electrician should confirm capacity, install the correct circuit, isolator and protection, then test and certify the installation.
