Traditional 160 (Nero)
The Hekla Traditional 160 is a beautifully crafted sauna cabin designed for a more authentic, traditional heat experience. Built around a thermo-aspen wood frame, it brings a warm, natural finish to the interior while maintaining a clean, contemporary appearance that works well in both home and wellness settings.
An integrated sauna ventilation valve helps support effective airflow and a more comfortable bathing environment, while the 8 mm grey safety glass adds a refined modern touch without compromising durability. Chromotherapy LED lighting is included to create a softer, more relaxing atmosphere and allow the mood of the sauna to be adjusted to suit the moment.
The cabin has an internal room volume of approximately 4 m³, making it suitable for a dedicated traditional sauna heater. The Hekla Traditional 160 is supplied without a heater, allowing you to choose the heating system that best suits your installation, preferred temperature range and control requirements.

For this model, the recommended option is the Harvia The Wall 6 kW heater with digital controls, which is well matched to the sauna’s approximately 4 m³ room volume and provides efficient, controllable heat for regular home use.
A 9 kW Harvia The Wall option is also available where a higher-output installation is preferred. Final heater selection should always take into account the room volume, insulation, glass area and local electrical requirements.

Safety & Certification
The Hekla Traditional 160 is independently tested and certified to recognised electrical-safety standards in both Europe and North America, giving additional reassurance that the sauna has been assessed against established safety requirements.
It is ETL Listed for conformity with applicable US and Canadian safety standards and CE marked for the European market. Testing is carried out by an accredited independent laboratory, helping ensure a consistent standard of safety and construction regardless of where the sauna is installed.

One small improvement I would suggest on the website: label the 6 kW as “Recommended” and the 9 kW as “Higher-output option” rather than presenting both as equivalent choices. That makes the purchase decision much clearer for the customer.
